The American Studies Department invites you to attend An Ordinarie Life: A Celebration of 17th & 18th Century Maryland Food, Drink, and Tavern Life, a fundraising event at Brewer’s Alley in Frederick, MD at 7 p.m. on the evening of Friday, November 18, 2011.  It will feature authentic 17th and 18th century tavern fare and heritage foods of colonial-era Maryland, as well as talks by our own Dr. Nancy Struna; Mr. Tom Flores, beer scholar and Brewer’s Alley brewmaster; and Ms. Erin Ryan, St. Mary’s College curator and AMST alumna.

Please see the flyer and menu or contact the American Studies main office at (301) 405-1354 for more information, and feel welcome to extend our invitation to friends and colleagues.  The cost of the event is $75 payable by phone or by email or mail with a credit card authorization form.  We hope you will join us for an entertaining evening of food, drink, and history!
