Julia John




Julia John is responsible for human relations and fiscal management.  Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Ms. John has been working on campus since 2001.  In addition to her work managing payroll, travel, and other financial matters for the department, Ms. John is a mother of four adult sons and enjoys her interactions with American Studies students.

Tammi Archer

Academic Coordinator



Tammi Archer is responsible for supporting the graduate/undergraduate academic programs and assisting faulty.  A Prince George’s County native, who has an extensive background in customer service, project management, and client relations.  Ms. Archer earned her B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Hampton University.  In her spare time, she enjoys sports, shopping, traveling, dining out, and family time.  Ms. Archer brings a calm but confident spirit which we believe will be an asset to the American Studies community.
