USLT Brown Bag Workshop
Bring your lunch and join the US Latina/a Studies Program as we kick off our first brown bag presentation for the spring semester. American Studies doctoral student Maria Vargas will be sharing her work-in-progress on the relationship between sexuality, torture and religion in the context of the civil war in Guatemala.
Light refreshments will be served.
The USLT Brown Bag Workshop is a new series that allows faculty and students to share research works-in-progress. Presentations will be approximately 20 minutes and will be followed by discussion. If you are interesting in presenting, please contact Randy Ontiveros at firstname.lastname@example.org.
