Abdul Ali
Abdul Ali is an interdisciplinary scholar and poet. He is a Ph.D student in American Studies at University of Maryland. His research and writing rest at the intersection of Black Visual Culture, African American Literature/ Culture, Intellectual History, and Public Humanities. His writings have been published in The Atlantic, The Washington Post magazine, and L.A Times. His poetry has appeared in Copper Nickel, The Poetry Foundation website, and Poet Lore. Abdul completed his B.A. at Howard University in English and Theater and his M.F.A. in Creative Writing at American University.
