Jennifer Smith

Academic Coordinator, American Studies

Jennifer Smith is the Academic Coordinator for the American Studies department. Prior to working at UMD, she worked as an academic advisor for UMGC at the Joint Base Andrews and Ft. Meade locations. She earned a MA degree in International Relations, focusing on Russia and the former Soviet Republics. In addition to being an avid reader of Russian/Soviet history, she enjoys writing and publishing, and is the author of several books of fiction and poetry.
