WGSS invites you to a book talk with Dr. Felicity Amaya Schaeffer

Join us on November 1st for a fall book talk with Dr. Felicity Amaya Schaeffer in collaboration with the US Latina/o Studies program with the American Studies Department. In "Unsettling Boards on Tohono O'odham Sacred Land," Dr. Schaeffer will address how debates about “borders” in Xicana migration studies can be put in dialogue with Indigenous peoples such as the Tohono O’odham whose reservation extends beyond the Arizona-Mexico borderland.
